Underwear for Everyone!
Discover creativity and comfort by learning how to make your own underwear! Starting with Ann Tilley’s original patterns as a jumping-off point, we will modify the style based on the desired fit of each maker. Students can choose from bikini briefs, high-waisted, or underwear with legs. We will sew on home machines and have access to sergers and coverstitch machines during class for construction.
If you want to learn more about sewing with knit fabrics this is the class for you, you will build skills on how to choose, sew and finish stretch knits.
Supplies included in the cost of the class.

- fold-over elastic
- elastic lace, and band elastic, as finishing options.
- ballpoint sewing machine needles
- 1/2 yard of jersey knit fabric WASHED (4-way stretch) - you get 10% off at VFS

Suggested sewing materials to bring: basic sewing supplies, pins, scissors, seam ripper
Stash busting: If you have fabric in your stash you want to use, students should feel free to bring their own 4-way stretch knit fabric options in ½ to 1 yard lengths or any elastic options they might be interested in using
*Please bring your own sewing machine that is in good working order.
We have a limited amount of shop machines available for use please call to inquire/reserve before purchasing class.
