Machine Sewing 102- Tracing a Garment Pattern

Machine Sewing 102 are beginner level skill builders.

You bought a cute garment pattern, now what? This workshop will focus on the first step of sewing your own wardrobe--measuring yourself and tracing your pattern! Sometimes the hardest part of sewing is getting started. You'll go over garment measurements vs. finished measurements and how to make the right size for your body. All bodies welcome! While you won't be sewing in this class, you'll walk away with the confidence to begin your me made wardrobe.

While seam rippers make sewing mistakes easy to fix, tracing and cutting mistakes are much harder to fix. This class will give you the skills to set you up for success.

You will practice your skills by tracing a pattern for elastic waist band shorts. Optional: if you have a clothing pattern you want to make, please bring it.

Materials--1 yard of pattern tracing paper is included in this class. If you have a favorite pen, you can bring it!
