
Beeswax Wraps and Craft Night

Learn how to make your own eco food wraps using beeswax. Beeswax wraps are a reusable, eco-friendly, and plastic-free alternative to plastic wrap. It can be used to wrap fruits and veggies, cheese, cover a dish or bowls, and more! Its reusable and won't tear. These wraps make fantastic gifts or keep them for yourself. You'll leave with a recipe so you can continue making them at home.
All materials and supplies will be provided for the beeswax wraps. We will be using Ruby Star Society Food Group Line for this workshop. You'll pick three 10" x 10" fabrics from a selection to make your own beeswax wraps. Bring your own craft to work on for the rest of the time frame.

* We have sign up times in 30 minute intervals. It doesn't take long to make a wrap! If you want to make more than 3 wraps, you could sign up for more than one time frame. We'd love for you to come for the whole time frame and bring your own craft to work on when your not making wraps.
Location: Village Fabric Shop
We will be using a mixture of pine resin, jojoba oil, and beeswax to make the perfect wax wraps. They have the right amount of stickiness, moldability, and more anti-bacterial power than beeswax alone.
