Come and stitch spring birds with us!
Join us in helping Village Fabric Shop become a certified GREEN BUSINESS with the Piedmont Environmental Alliance Green Business Network. 100% of the proceeds from this fundraiser/workshop go to support the Environmental Alliance and our Green Business goal.
Craft in community for a good cause, no experience necessary!
We will learn how to sew spring birds. You can choose to hand or machine stitch your bird- we will have a limited number of machine sewing stations set up, no need to bring your own machine. We will provide a selection of patterns and "bird styles" for you to choose from. All the materials are included in the cost of the workshop, there will be fabric, felt, ribbon, embroidery floss and other embellishments to customize your bird.
Come and enjoy the spirit of Spring before its over!
You can choose to drop in and gather supplies and a pattern or you can stay the entire time and and stitch with us in community.
