Free Range Slacks Class
The Free Range Slacks are as easy to wear as their name. You will roam in the comfort of a stylish, elastic high waist when you wear them.
You will learn a lot of valuable sewing techniques: pattern fitting, flat-fell and French seams, patch pockets, front pockets, elastic waistband installation, topstitching, under stitching, and hems.
This class is designed for the advanced beginner and intermediate sewist, but advanced sewists will learn key construction and fitting skills.
Pattern in sizes 00-20 and Curvy Sizes 18 - 34.

Location: The Barn (across the walk path from VFS)
Cost: $98.00 + material cost
Supplies needed to bring class:
- Free Range Slacks by Sew House Seven Paper Pattern (available at VFS)
- WASHED Bottom weight fabric in the yardage for your size Cotton / linen canvas, linen, cotton twill, rayon / linen blends, light to mid-weigh denim are good choices
- 1 1/2” elastic (3/4 - 1 1/4 yards, depending on waist meas.
- Matching Thread
- Sewing Machine in working order with a new needle. We do have a limited amount of shop machines available for use please call to inquire/reserve before purchasing class.
- Basic sewing supplies (pins, tape, seam gauge, etc.)* we have these supplies available for you as well but if you have anything you like bring it with you!
