Machine Sewing 102- Snippy Scissor Pouch
Kylie and the Machine Snippy Pouch Pattern ~ the ultimate scrap-buster with purpose: to keep your special scissors safe! Safe from falls and from hands that might want to use them for non-sewing purposes!
Sewing Machine 102 are beginner level skill builders. You must have taken sewing machine 101 or know how to sew with a sewing machine.
This workshop will focus on sew in foam and using bias tape. You'll learn the basics of sewing and finishing a lined scissor pouch. You will learn We will go over putting in a bias tape, topstitching, foam interfacing, adding a label and more!
Materials--included in the cost of the class. The Snippy Pouch Kits includes fabric, foam, bias tape, velcro, and a Kylie and the Machine Label to complete your pouch!
If you have a special fabric you desire to use please bring it in. We will have several options for you to choose from.
The pattern comes with 9 different template sizes. Bring the scissor you'd like to make a pouch to class with you to create the correct size. Your kit will have enough material to make a pouch for large shears. If you'd like to make a small snip pouch, you should have enough foam to make another pouch at home!
Ages 16+
Bring your own working machine with you or let us know before class if you'd like to reserve a shop machine.
