Natural Dye 101 - Gradient Rainbow

Join Nicole Asselin of Village Fabric Shop and come learn the basics of natural dyes.

In this special workshop, participants will also be assisting local artist Jessica Singerman in making an art installation.

You will learn how to prepare fabric for dyeing and explore the foundational concepts of working with dye extracts and color modifiers. Walk away with a mini natural dye pallet “swatch book” and two custom dyed bandanas.

A portion of this workshop is focused on dying fabric for Singerman’s Spring 2025 exhibition in Sawtooth's Davis Gallery. All participants will be recognized for their participation.
