Kalle Shirt Sew Along

Learn how to sew this classic, comfy button down top! This cropped, short sleeve shirt is an easy-wearing summer garment, come sew in community and build your skills. This class is for the advanced beginner. 


Please note: this is a construction and fitting-focused class for VERSION A, cropped version with short sleeves.

Please come to class with your pattern pieces already cut out.

List of Pieces needed cut: 

D, N, K, G, J, I, P, O

Don't Cut: 
A & B - these are the front and back and determining the length and cutting in class is recommended. 


If you need help or advice with the pattern cutting and sizing, we are happy to help you at the shop.

Supplies Needed: 

-Fabric: based on the fabric requirements on the size chart below - Note: in the class we are covering Version A cropped button down (please wash and dry and CUT your fabric before class!)
- Matching thread 
- Kalle Shirt Pattern  
- Pattern tracing paper
- 5 or 6 - 1/2'' buttons
- lightweight interfacing  
- sewing machine in good working order (we will have sergers available for class use) 

We have a limited amount of shop machines available, If you need a machine, please reserve a shop machine before class. 


DATES/ TIMES: this is a two-session class
Sunday June 1st from 3-7pm
& Monday June 2nd from 6-9pm
