JULY Sewing & Craft Summer Camp - Ages 12-16
Sew and craft with us this summer! The theme for July is UPCYLED FASHION! It is all about sewing and crafting fun projects to add spark and originality to your wardrobe.
This is a half-day summer camp for youth Ages 12-16. No sewing or crafting experience is needed. Each camper will learn basic machine and hand sewing techniques and will walk away with their personalized craft projects!
The focus of the camp is to build crafting confidence, to learn how to take care in what you make, to have fun using quality materials, and above all to enjoy the process. 
Date: July 14th-17th
Time: 9am-12pm
Location: Village Fabric Shop & The Barn (across the sidewalk from the shop!)
This is a half-day summer camp experience. All the materials needed for each project are included in the cost of the camp.
Required Summer Camp Form
The parent or guardian is responsible for filling out a liability and release waiver for each child that is registered.

Materials: We will have all the sewing machines, fabric and crafting supplied needed for camp. If the camper prefers to use their own machine, that is fine please bring on the first day of camp and we can store the machine at the shop for the duration of camp.
PLEASE BRING 3 OR 4 ITEMS FROM YOUR OWN WARDROBE THAT YOU WOULD LIKE TO UPCYCLE OR ALTER. WE SUGGUST:
1. TEE SHIRT(S)
2. JEAN JACKET OR HOODIE/SWEATSHIRT
3. JEANS OR SHORTS
Note: Please wear clothing that can get dirty - we will be crafting and may cause cause a mess.
Camp Schedule:
Monday: Sewing 101 & Custom tote with scrappy pocket
Tuesday: Natural Dye and fabric printmaking day
Wednesday: Embroidery, Stitching, and beading day
Thursday: Upcycle and stitch day
* please note that the schedule is subject to change due to weather and the individual needs of the campers. All bodies welcome /Everyone welcome
