Pick Your Fashion Fabric: pattern and color
This workshop is the first in a series about how to pick your fashion fabrics with confidence. Join VFS instructor Sherrie Aycock in exploring how to make fabric selections that work best for you and your style . You will learn how to analyze pattern, color, scale, value and other elements.
You will learn how to train your eye to identify the 5 design elements that define how a pattern works, and how it will look on you.
Enjoy a fun and social evening, immerse yourself into fabric design and appreciate the variety of prints available to you.
Materials needed:

| Instructor Bio: | Sherrie is an avid garment sewing and has studied tailoring and costume design at UN Charlotte and UNCSA. She loves learning about couture sewing techniques, style, and color. She has studied with Your Color Style, Kenneth King, Linda Maynard, Sandra Betzina, and Susan Khalje. She loves teaching sewing skills and fashion know-how, especially to her grand daughter Lola. |
