QUILT & Craft Summer Camp - Ages 12-15

Quilt and craft with us this summer! This is a half-day summer camp for youth Ages 12-15. No sewing or crafting experience is needed. Each camper will learn sewing and quilting basics and will walk away with a quilt and pillow case of their very own!

the focus is on building confidence and learning how to take care in what you make, use good materials, and enjoy the process.

Date: July 15th-18th
Time: 1pm-4pm
Location: Village Fabric Shop & The Barn (across the sidewalk from the shop!)


This is a half-day summer camp experience. All the materials needed for each project are included in the cost of the camp.

Required Summer Camp Form
The parent or guardian is responsible for filling out a liability and release waiver for each child that is registered. 
Please download this PDF form, fill out and return in person to the shop or scan and email to shop@villagefabricshop.com before the start date of camp.

Materials: We will have all the sewing machines, fabric and crafting supplied needed for camp. If the camper prefers to use their own machine, that is fine please bring on the first day of camp and we can store the machine at the shop for the duration of camp. 

Note: Please wear clothing that can get dirty - we will be crafting and may cause cause a mess.

Monday: Solar dyeing fabric & sewing basics overview 
Tuesday: Pillowcase party! & Quilting 101
Wednesday: Piecing your quilt
Thursday: Piecing your quilt continued. 
Friday: Backing and quilting your quilt
