Wear this as a pas on your palm to support the needle as you push it through the fabric. There is an elastic cord on the back to adjust to fit your finger.
From Little House of Japan, a traditional sashiko leather thimble with elastic that allows it to stretch to fit your finger. There are little bumps on the front of the thimble for the needle to rest on as you push it through the fabric. The leather will soften over time with use.
