Sewing and the City The Bleeker Sweatshirt Paper Pattern
The Bleeker Sweatshirt is a loose fitting pull over sweatshirt with a dropped shoulder and ruffle details along the sleeves. The neck is finished with a neckband and the cuffs of the sleeves are finished with cuff bands. The bottom edge is finished with a straight hem for a modern look. Tuck the Bleeker into leather pants or style loose with jeans!
Suggested Fabrics: Lightweight to medium weight stretch knits such as: sweatshirt fleece, french terry, jersey knits. If using sweatshirt fleece, we recommend making the ruffle in a lighter weight fabric like cotton, silkies, or organza to reduce bulk.
Notions:
½ yard of matching ribbing Advanced: If your main fabric has at least 30% stretch, you can use it in place of ribbing
